What makes Meguiars #205 Ultra Finishing Polish unique? It contains Meguiar’s Super Micro Abrasive Technology, just like #105 Ultra-Cut Compound. Micro abrasives allow the polish to cut fast and leave a smooth finish in fewer passes. Micro abrasives do not break down like diminishing abrasives, which gives #205 polish a long working time.

The non-gumming formula spreads easily and buffs smoothly. Clean up is a snap.


Use Meguiars #205 Ultra Finishing Polish on any type of paint. Use #205 by itself for light swirl and defect removal. Use #205 after compounding to restore the maximum gloss and reflection to the paint.

Apply Meguiars #205 Ultra Finishing Polish using a foam finishing pad on your polisher. Using a rotary buffer, work at a speed between 1000-1500 RPM. Using a dual action polisher, work at a speed of 4 or 5. Work in a 2 x 2 sq. ft. area and wipe off polish immediately after polishing using a Cobra Microfiber Towel. Always use a wax or paint sealant after polishing.
